Has anyone ever worked on a cruise ship before?

I’m trying to get a job on a cruise ship, and they told us that our ‘closet’ will be about the size of a locker. True? Any other tips/info would be helpful. Thanks!

think about it like this, minus the work you are constantly on a cruise for free!

I have had friends that worked on them before but all I can tell you is they liked it so much they did it for years.

Yes, I would imagine the closet is that small. The crew sleeping quarters are probably really small too. You work hard 7 days a week and sign a contract to work six to nine months at a time.
but then again you would get to see some of the world which is great

I was on 2 carnival cruises this spring and the ONLY American working on the ship was the Golf instructor. A few Canadians and everyone else was from Asia, South America and Europe. I dont know if Carnival hires many Americans. Just a Observation.
