how much money will i spend on a cruise?

all inclusive cruises don’t cost much extra spending money except perhaps for souvenir shopping…you got a good decent deal if food and drink is included.

There’s more to consider:
Tips are automatically added to your sign & sail card at $10 per person per day. (A lot of people tip above and beyond that. You decide.)
There’s a fuel charge - was that included in your price already?
Soda & alcoholic drinks are extra. Coffee tea and juice are free.
If you use (free) room service, tip the delivery person a dollar or two.
If you want any of the photos, they’re extra.
Things they sell at their stores are pretty high - film, dramamine, Pringles, suntan lotion, so make sure you bring your own.

I have never cruised with Carnival before, but Royal Caribbean has everything included except for alcoholic drinks. In that case you will only need souvenier money. You will need to pay the gratuity and that alone can run up. If you want to do any shore excursions that will cost you some money too. Those are things that are not included in the price of the cruise. Food should be, unless it’s a specialty restaurant on board. They have nominal fees. You don’t have to eat at those restaurants - your meals on board should be included in your cruise deal.

Check with Royal Caribbean next time - in my opinion they have the best fares, boats, entertainments…etc.

My girlfriend and returned from the Carnival Paradise yesterday and our bill from our account was $274. That was a 4 night cruise and only spent money on drinking. We also spent $98 each for our scuba diving excursion in Catalina Island. In Ensenada, we just bar hopped and spent about $50. You’re meals and drinks like tea, coffee, juice are covered. You will have to buy beer and soda; and your excursions as well. With Carnival. They will also include a 15% tip with that. You will be charged $7/day/person for gradutidies on your ship account if you haven’t already pre paid them. Have fun, it will be a blast!!!
