Is it safe to be a minor on a cruise?

I’m planning on going on a cruise with my friend’s family. Since I’m only seventeen, if I got very sick or injured, is it safe for me to be on the cruise underage with no legal guardian present? Would there be complications as to what would happen to me with no legal guardian available? Any info is appreciated, thanks.

yes. i would make sure you had some kind of paper work from your parents saying the friend’s parents were your guardians while you are in their care.

I would call the cruise line and ask them if their is anything if their would be any complications.
Your parents may need to sign something giving your friend’s family permission to make decsions

i would be less worried about that and more worried about the things where you need a guardian to sign for you to do something, the cruise i went on everything was very centered on ” you can do this…. but only if your eighteen or have a guardian….” just a thought.
