How far is the airport in Tampa, Florida from the Cruise terminal?

My husband are cruising out of Tampa in April ‘08 but would like to know how far the cruise terminal is from the airport.

    Its like 10 miles I think. You have to go into downtown to get to the cruise terminal, if you are leaving from that particular cruise terminal. If its the one I am thinking of, its approx 10 miles.

    Very close. I think it was a 10 min cab ride. It felt like it was right next door.

    It’s not far and I have seen cruise people meeting people at the airport with signs so find out if the ship has a shuttle service
