Congrats. You’ll have a great time. If you check out cruiseaddicts.com or google cruise packing you can get tons of info about what to pack. I’d need to know your itinerary and length to give you any advice. Caribbean, Alaska or Europe?

def flip flops, bathing suit, about 2 nice dresses for dinner because you are not allowed to wear jeans, camera, there is really no need for alot of cash because you use your room key as a credit card so you charge drinks and everything you buy on the boat with that card. The only thing you need cash for is when you are off of the boat. Bring a sweatshirt it can get cold on the boat, sunglasses you are outside alot, and just like shorts and tanks! really no need for alot of clothes because you are in your swimming suit most of the time, try to carry your itinerary around with you that they give you each day and go to most of the shows that you can get to because they are excellent

everyone always forgets about formal night. i think 3-5 days have one. and 7 days have two. I wore jeans with heels and nice tops to dinner because the majority of people werent as dressed up as you would think they would be. dresses and ties on formal nights. other than that..just make sure you dress right for your excursions. I almost didn’t bring sneakers but was so glad i did because on the ship we booked an excursion for hiking in the jungle.
sunscreen, dramamine(just in case), insect repellant (that was the one thing i forgot), and something waterproof to put your cash in when you go swimming.
The stores on your cruise should have an toiletries you may have forgotten.

Do a websearch and type in “cruise packing” or similar and you will find a great number of lists from others.
