Can I charge people to park on my lawn for the Woodward Dream Cruise?

I live within walking distance from the Dream Cruise. Can I put up a sign and charge people $20 bucks to park on my lawn or in my driveway? Or will Ferndale Police think its a buisness of some sort?

I don’t know about how your police will take it but, remember, if you accept money, you also accept responsibility if something happens to their cars. Putting up signs that say you are not responsible may make you feel better but courts don’t think that way.

I have heard of that before. Businesses do it all the time. They will just tell you to cut it out. If you are going to do it all the time a vending license will work.
